After studying English and Philosophy at NYU, I joined the Knopf and Vintage imprints at Random House, then founded theNewerYork, a literary press that published 25 books and 1,500+ stories, with subscribers including Margaret Atwood and Lemony Snicket. At Melcher Media in New York, I led editorial and production on illustrated books for Al Gore, Apple, Netflix, and the Tutankhamun exhibits. Since 2018, Raab & Co. has paired a senior team of writers, editors, and designers with a relentless standard for craft. One recent client’s book helped secure $26M in funding and brought the former CEO of General Electric onto their board. When you hand out your book, people should feel they’ve received a gift, not an assignment. I live in Santa Barbara with my wife, two sons, and dog.
